The anchor (2 loops) clicks into the Kensington 6 x 3 mm slot located at the side or back of the laptop or notebook. The loops are made of stainless spring steel, may times stronger than the material the laptop is made of. The steel cable is anchored with one loop around a fixed point while the other loop is attached to the anchor with the padlock. Removing the anchor with 2 men and a lot of force, will only result in a torn up laptop - worthless for thief or receiver.

Removing the VESABLOCK during the SKG* test and the aid of an adjustable spanner, adjustable-joint pliers and 2 large screw drivers (30 and 40 cm long) took almost 10 minutes = net 2 min. 33 sec and left us with a heavily damaged screen: dead stock for thieves.
